UPDATE- Mission Good Friday was a huge success! The turnout was amazing and your boldness was contagious. Here are some pics and vids of last nights efforts. To God be the Glory!
Our friend and brother Tony Miano shared this event with me via facebook and it looked like an effort with FSBC written all over it. Wanting everyone to see what I was talking about when referring to Project Ezra, Jeff and Cody answered the call and initiated a preview of Friday’s plan prior to the worship service this morning. With Jeff on the box, Bible in hand, and Cody with the cross they faithfully read from Matthew 26-28 and the early church members gathered in support. This crowd then lead to Joann taking her turn and countless passersby witnessing and hearing God’s Word being obediently read aloud. Here is a little collage and a short video clip from this mornings preview of Mission Good Friday (Mission Palm Sunday… I guess).
Mission Good Friday- 7pm at the Corner of Myrtle and 288B! See you there!
I am in Yoakum, TX preparing to preach the gospel to all who will listen. I begin tomorrow morning and conclude Sunday morning. My opportunity tomorrow begins at 7am in front of 70 Jr. High students please pray that this initial contact is well received and then we will be in the community with the cross and some tracts in prep for the local football game. Saturday night I will be bringing another message to the community at a Trunk Fest/Fall Festival, and then I have the blessing to equip the Saints of New Life Baptist Church on their 10 year anniversary.
Please pray

Update- Things went really well this morning. 91 students attended this FCA gathering. It was a blessing and an enormous opportunity to share the Gospel.
Update Saturday- I have overused my voice already this trip. Please pray that it will supernaturally recover before I need to preach tonight at 8pm. Also, pray for Scott Marquis as he prepares to preach for Fresh Spring tonight and tomorrow, and pray for the praise team, lead by Cody.
In addition to the service yesterday morning at the school the following tweets explain why my voice is tired, to God be the glory: Twitter.com/StorefrontSaint
Final Update: At the conclusion of this great weekend I was able to equip the saints of New Life Baptist Church and ask them the question, “Are You Ready?” from the text Matthew 25:14-30. Are you ready to give an account for every thought, word, and deed?
