UPDATE: Prayer need- Bro George

Bro George passed away today. He leaves behind nothing and no one, but fellow residents and a caring pastor, now lives forever as a son of the King. After vehemently denying Christ as the only begotten for 80+ years, by grace he was saved and given repentant faith on Easter Sunday. On THAT day Bro George passed from death to life and today he knows the meaning of everlasting.

1 Corinthians 15:54-57

When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

“Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Are you ready for judgment? Are you ready to stand before the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who has never slept, who has never been surprised, who knows your every thought, word, and deed? Some of you reading this are not saved, and you know it. There is salvation in none other than Jesus, the Christ the Son of the living God. Turn from your wickedness and flee the wrath that abides on you, trusting fully in the resurrected Savior. Cry out to God that he might save you while you still have breath. He is mighty to save!

Praise God for Bro Wayne and the ministry team that tirelessly ministers to the residents at Lake Jackson Health Care. May God continue to bless their faithful Gospel ministry.

“Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell.” C.T. Studd
